Israeli fighter jets have conducted another airstrike in Syria, a U.S. official said.
The ABC News reports that Israeli warplanes are responsible for a series of large blasts that occurred in the early morning hours at a Syrian naval base in Latakia on July 5.
According to the report, this is the fourth time Israel has air struck Syria this year targeting shipments of advanced Russian weapons that Syria is providing to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The rebel forces in Syria believe that the base housed advanced Yakhont long-range anti-ship missiles.
