Americans' approval of the way Congress is handling its job has dropped to nine percent, the lowest in Gallup poll's 39-year history.
The rating hit 10 percent twice in 2012, and the 2013 average is now 14 percent.
According to the Washington Times, the dissatisfaction level is also consistent across the political spectrum: 9 percent of Republicans, 8 percent of independents and 10 percent of Democrats approve.
The poll found that only 14 percent Americans approved of the way the Congress is handling its job, which is the lowest yearly average in the polling organization's history.
