United States Defence Secretary Ashton Carter is starting a tour of the Middle East to ease fears over the Iran nuclear deal that was reached last week.
According to the BBC, Carter will meet Israeli officials, as Tel Aviv is one of the strongest critics of the deal.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had called the deal a "historic mistake".

Carter will then visit Saudi Arabia as it is Iran's main regional and oil rival.
The deal between world powers and Iran on Wednesday limited Iranian nuclear activity in return for the lifting of sanctions.
