A resident of Illinois, US, who dreamt of marrying on a ship, has built a pirate vessel in the backyard of his house.

The ship has however landed Tony Miller in trouble, as the local authorities claimed that he had not followed Winnebago County's code of conduct, and forgot to obtain the permit required to build the ship, the New York Daily News reported.

But after discussing with county officials, Miller thinks he has reached an agreement and can finish the vessel for his August 3 wedding to fiancee Kaela Schenk.

Schenk said that she had never expected to get married on a pirate ship, but is excited for it.
