US President Donald Trump welcomed Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak to the White House on Tuesday.
The US President shook hands with his Malaysian counterpart at the West wing, amid criticism over Trump hosting the PM Razak, who is currently undergoing US Justice Department probe.
The US President said that it "was a great honor" to host the Malaysian Prime Minister and his delegation at the White House.
"It was a great honor to welcome Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak of Malaysia and his distinguished delegation to the @WhiteHouse today!" he wrote on Twitter.
Prime Minister Razak is currently facing allegations in connection with loot of billions from a sovereign wealth fund, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), in complex overseas deals that are being investigated in several countries including the United States.
