US raid yields 'trove' of information on IS' ways, tactics

The United States has reportedly discovered a trove of valuable information, including the roles played by the jihadists' wives in delivering key information to militants, during a raid conducted by American commandos on the home of an Islamic State (IS) leader in Syria last month.

According to Fox News, laptops, computers and sim cards were seized during the raid on the home of Abu Sayaaf. His wife, who was also captured during the operation, is being interrogated by Iraqis and has divulged a lot of valuable information so far.

The raid also yielded important information on the terror group's financing, contact networks, tactics and also the way its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi conducted his business in utmost secrecy.
