Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari has conveyed his warm greetings and good wishes to all citizens of the nation on the occasion of Independence Day.
In his message given ahead of the 68th Independence Day, Ansari said, "I convey my warm greetings and good wishes to all our citizens on the joyous occasion of the Independence Day. On this important occasion, we salute the valiant freedom fighters whose courage and sacrifice freed us from the oppressive colonial rule. We also pay our tribute to the builders of our new republic for their selfless services in creating a modern, secular and democratic state
As we commemorate this important day, let us all unite and work collectively for taking the country forward on the path of peace, progress and prosperity.
