Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has revealed that the squad did not stop trying for their 'axed' boss David Moyes and did everything they were asked to in order to prevent a disastrous season.
Vidic said that there is no question over any of the players because they did everything that had been asked of them.
According to the BBC, Vidic said that sometimes one does things well, sometimes one does not, but the desire for United to do the best was always there and they tried really hard.
The skipper added that from the first day till the last one did not hear any player say anything bad about the training under Moyes, which shows that the players have got respect for the manager.
Moyes was sacked last month by United, just 10 months after Sir Alex Ferguson appointed the Scot as his successor at the Old Trafford side, as the club faced a disastrous season under his stewardship, the report added.
