Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former IPS officer Kiran Bedi on Monday urged the people of Delhi to vote for her party, stating that an alignment between the Central and state governments would help avoid blame games between the two bodies.

"You have to bring such a government in Delhi where there is some alignment between the state and central government; there should be no blame game all the time. You have suffered a lot when there was no alignment between the Congress and state governments. Therefore, alignment is the most important factor now," said Bedi, while addressing a rally in the capital.

She further promised a holistic administration in Delhi if the BJP came to power.

"I promise a holistic administration for Delhi. Each department of any state is equally important. If you vote for the BJP there will be a holistic administration. I want to dedicate the rest of my life to Delhi. I am not asking anything else from you," she said.

This is Bedi's first road show in the capital. It is being speculated that the former IPS officer, who joined the party on Thursday, will be projected as the next chief ministerial candidate for the BJP in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
