Congress leader P. Chidambaram on Monday said that after the large number of deaths associated with the Vyapam scam, the lesson to be learnt is that court monitoring does not guarantee independent investigation, urging the Madhya Pradesh government to order a CBI inquiry into the case.
Chidambaram took to twitter to share his views.
"Lessons of #Vyapam : 1) Court monitoring does not guarantee independent investigation. (1/2)," he posted.
"2) Buck stops with the Executive. MP Government must order CBI investigation before the next unnatural death (2/2) #Vyapam," he added.
