A few Australian cricketers and their head coach Darren Lehmann will reportedly vie with each other for the hairiest moustache in order to raise funds for a Cricket Australia (CA) charity when they take on England during the winter Ashes series starting this month.

Lehmann, along with Matthew Wade, David Warner, Mitchell Starc and Mitchell Johnson are set to begin their moustache-growing competition from November 1 to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.

According to Sport24, Lehmann said that he has no hesitation in offering his support for Movember, which is one CA's two official charity partners, adding that Movember has helped change the way they see men's health.

Lehmann further said that he would always be a big supporter for this cause given that his grandfather is battling prostate cancer, adding that he hopes that the competition will be tough with Wade, Warner, Starc and Johnson on board as well.

Last year the Australian cricket community raised more than 112, 000 dollars for the cause, taking cricket's contribution to more than 300,000 dollars since 2008, the report added.
