Legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram has revealed that his biggest regret as a bowler was not being able to get his name on the honours board at the Lord's Cricket Ground.
Pointing out his 25 five-wicket haul in the Test cricket, the 50-year-old former captain insisted that he lamented not being able to bag a five-wicket haul at the 'home of cricket'.
Akram had featured in four Test matches against England at Lord's, where Pakistan won two matches and lost one, with one match settling in a draw.
Reflecting on his experience at Lord's, the former left-arm pacer admitted that each match had a special place in his memory, the Express Tribune reported.
Akram further said it was a 'dream come true' for him to play his first Test at Lord's.
However, the fast bowling legend said that he did not want to recall his farewell match at the home of cricket as Pakistan slumped to a crushing innings defeat to England.
Overall, Akram has taken 12 wickets from his four matches at Lord's, with the best figures being four for 66.
