Watching paint dry has been considered as the world's most boring job possible by some people, it has been revealed.
But Dr Thomas Curwen gets paid to do it all day and he has watched paint dry in his job for Dulux for the last four years, the Daily Star reported.
The 34-year-old from Twyford, Berkshire, has spend hours in the name of science and research watching the changing colour of paint as it dries, both on walls and up close through a microscope.
The research scientist said that people have told him constantly that the job sounds boring but fortunately when looked under a microscope, everything comes to life with rich details and it looked like something from out of space, however, it's also not a very easy job either.
It is important that paints are the brightest and most durable as they could help make people happier in their houses, offices or just out and about, so he ensures that they always have the best product, he further added.
