Wave Infratech awarded naming, marketing rights for two DMRC stations in Noida

Real estate and entertainment major Wave Infratech has been awarded the naming rights for two popular Delhi Metro stations at Noida Sector 18 and Noida City Centre respectively.

The DMRC has awarded Wave Infratech the naming rights for these two prominent stations in Noida along with exclusive marketing rights of media space for a period of ten years.THis is a first for both the DMRC as weel as for Wave Infratech.

The awarding of naming and marketing rights to Wave Infratech is in conformity with the Union Budget announcement to allocate funds for the DMRC.

The auction of the naming rights of popular metro stations is being seen and projected as a good revenue earning stream for the metro rail entity and would also assist them in the completion of Phase III and other maintenance and miscellaneous expenses.

The 'naming rights' auction by DMRC puts the metro rail network on the global pedestal as far as revenue generation is concerned.
