In the wake of Delhi's air pollution levels taking centre stage during the third and final test match between India and Sri Lanka, Indian bowling coach Bharat Arun on Sunday said the Indian cricket team was focussed on playing the match and achieving for the country.

The statement comes after the opponent team, Sri Lanka, was seen playing with a mask on.

The match, which was being played at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi, was disrupted multiple times, albeit briefly, on Sunday with India eventually declaring the innings for 536/7.

"Virat batted close to two days. He didn't need a mask. We have focussed on what we need to do and achieve for the team," Arun said, adding that the environmental conditions are same for both the teams.

The coach said there was pollution everywhere in India and it was the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) who had fixed the schedule.

"Our job is to go and play. So we are focussing on that," he added.
