A new study has revealed that weather has no real impact on people's happiness and well-being.
It was found that a glimpse of the sun might lift people's mood but the weather had no real impact on their happiness, the Daily Express reported.
Comparing Met Office data with the British Household Panel Survey, which asked people how they felt, researchers found no correlation between sunshine and happiness.
Kirk Waite, of the Met Office, said that regardless of how it affects people's mood, the weather has an important impact on things they do, so people should keep on checking the forecast.
