Arsenal football team manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that they have a 'good mentality and good cohesion' in the team following his side's 4-1 win over Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil, Alexis and Olivier Giroud hit on target in Arsenal's win over Liverpool. Wenger's side has had 15 different goalscorers this season, the most in the Premier League, and the manager is delighted with his attacking options.
Wenger said that one smells that his side can score goals, adding that if one looks at the number of goals Arsenal has scored now -62 from 31 league games- that's quite good with seven games to go, Sport24 reported.
Wenger claimed that they have a good mentality and good cohesion in the team, adding that there is something happening, and that shows that they are ready to fight for each other. He insisted that one can see that and one cannot cheat on that.
The manager said that that is a good basis, and defensively they are getting better. He believes that one also has to give credit to players who get less, such as Coquelin.
Wenger is determined to end the season as strongly as possible. He said that let them give everything to do it and see what happens, adding that it's too early to talk about finishing second with seven games to go but he insisted that they are in a good position, with four at home and only three away.
