Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised club player Aaron Ramsey for his obsession to improve and said that he has finally overcome the mental scars of a leg injury picked up against Stoke more than three years ago.

According to Espn.co.uk, Ramsey suffered a horrific leg break in a clash with Potters defender Ryan Shawcross in February 2010, with his form fluctuating in the years since.

However, Ramsey picked up his form at the back end of last term and has performed consistently well this season, the report said.

Wenger said that it took a long time for the player to completely get over the injury but he now scores goals, something he always had the ability to.

He said that Ramsey always got into good positions in the box but missed chances sometimes, adding that he has improved tremendously on that now.
