Michael Clarke would have never imagined in his wildest dreams that his success as Australian team's skipper would confuse a British journalist so much so that he ask him about his 'sex life'.
The journalist accidentally asked the skipper 'Michael you've had tremendous sex ... as Australia captain' before immediately correcting himself by saying 'success' and following up with 'you might have had that as well, I don't know', News.com.au reported.
Addressing a post-match press conference after defeating India in the World Cup semifinal, Clarke and Steve Smith subsequently burst into laughter, with the former saying that 'How well do you know me? That's a question for my wife'.
With the win over reigning champions India on Thursday, Australia reached their seventh World Cup final and will face co-hosts New Zealand on Sunday in Melbourne for the coveted title.
