Emma Watson has revealed that she was once asked by her university professor to quit acting.
The 23-year-old English actress said that she was affected by the media's questions if she would be able to sustain an acting career outside the 'Harry Potter' franchise, the Daily Express reported.
The 'This is the End' star told Entertainment Weekly that for a while she bought into the hype of "Will they ever be able to play anything else?" which gave her a sense of paralysis and stage fright.
Watson said that she was grappling with the fact that her own professor didn't think she should continue acting and wasn't feeling good about all of this.
She added that she changed her opinion when she read the script of 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower'.
