Johnny Depp's actress wife Amber Heard has been summoned to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court in Queensland over the allegations of smuggling her two Yorkshire terriers in Australia.
The 'Friday Night Lights' actress is charged for illegal importation and also for producing a false incoming passenger card, and if she will be found guilty she could face up to 10 years in jail and a fine of 100,000 dollars, the Telegraph reported.
Heard came under fire in April when she was spotted hanging out with actor husband and two Yorkshire terriers Boo and Pistol in Brisbane instead of Australia having strict animal quarantine laws to prevent importing infections.
Notably, Depp is currently filming the latest installment of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise on Australia's Gold Coast.
