Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is on a three-day visit to India, met many Indian cabinet Ministers at the Hotel Taj Palace here on Tuesday to discuss issues of mutual interest.
Wickremesinghe met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas (I/C) Dharmendra Pradhan , Power Minister Piyush Goyal and Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari along with several other prominent leaders and dignitaries.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who welcomed his Sri Lankan counterpart, said that he had an excellent discussion with the latter on a number of prominent issues concerning both countries.
Wickremesinghe is scheduled to meet Union Minister of Finance Arun Jaitley tomorrow.
