Widows from Vrindavan and school going children were among those who landed at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 7 Race Course Road residence today to tie rakhis to the PM.
A widow who landed at the PM's residence to tie rakhi to him said, "I wish to tie rakhi to Narendra Modi ji. We want him to help youths. We also want him to take care of widows. Society is still not ready to accept widows."
A student who tied rakhi to the PM said, "I felt nice tying rakhi to the Prime Minister. We asked the questions and he answered. We asked him about the rising prices. He said that he would look after the matter."
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, which is being celebrated across the country today.
