Will Ferrell will star and produce the New Line's comedy 'The House' with Brendan O'Brien and Andrew J. Cohen who are well known for 'Neighbors'.
Cohen will be making his directional debut in New Line's upcoming comedy that will have a low budget of 40 million dollars and will start working on it in August having mid next year's release, the Deadline reported.
The 47-year-old comedian and his partner Adam McKay and Jessica Elbaum and Chris Henchy will executive produce the film, as they are adept at putting movies like this, getting studios to pony up and then delivering comic hits.
Ferrell will be playing a guy, who, with his wife, blows their daughter's college fund, and team with some neighbors to open an illegal casino in the suburbs.
