Willow Smith has hit back at critics for the controvicila picture with shirtless Moises Arias on a bed, saying that she doesn't need validation from anyone but herself.
The 13-year-old daughter of Jada Pinkett and Will Smith was criticized after a photograph of her lying on a bed fully clothed with the 20-year-old actor was published and the family had defended the picture stating the pair are just friends, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Willow took to Twitter saying that kids are constantly told they have to be validated by an outside source, in school at home, but the truth is the only validation one needs is from themselves.
It was also reported that the picture had prompted an investigation by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services.
