England midfielder Jack Wilshere has claimed that Arsenal's returning World Cup heroes from Germany would kick-start the club's season.
Germany World Cup winning team's trio Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski are due to be in the Arsenal squad for Saturday's trip to Everton. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had provided them with an extended break after their heroics in Brazil.
They have been missed, and are needed with Wenger short of players for the Champions League return against Besiktas because of Aaron Ramsey's red card and Mikel Arteta's injury during the goalless draw in Turkey, The Mirror reported.
Arsenal midfielder Wilshere said that it would give them an added boost, adding that with Germans anyway they've got fantastic mentality, as one saw last year.
He said that the Germans are great characters on the training ground and great players as well, and added that it would be good having them back and would make their squad stronger.
Wilshere said that it is not going to be an easy game against Besiktas, adding that Arsenal cannot take the match for granted. He said that they have Everton first followed by Besiktas on Wednesday.

Wilshere also said that Besiktas will be full of confidence after their performance in Istanbul and Arsenal is going to have to really take the game to them.
Arsenal has made a laboured start to their campaign. Wenger's side struggled to beat Crystal Palace and then the Frenchman's perfect record of 12 straight wins in Champions League play-offs came to an end at Besiktas.
Wenger has been left sweating on qualification for the group stage, which is why he needs his big-game players back, the report added.
