Former India pacer S Sreesanth believes that victory over Australia in the virtual quarterfinal clash in Mohali on Sunday will pave way for his country's side to lift the coveted World Twenty20 trophy for a second time.

"I wish the Indian cricket team the very best. I was very fortunate to be a part of 2007 victorious side. We are doing really well. It is like a quarterfinal today. If we win today, I am sure we are winning the cup," Sreesanth, who played a vital cog in India's victorious campaign in 2007, told ANI.

India will carry immense buoyancy from the manner in which it snatched victory out of the gaping jaws of defeat against Bangladesh, while Australia rediscovered their batting zest against Pakistan in their previous match.

Meanwhile, former wicketkeeper-batsman Surinder Khanna expects the mouth-watering clash to be a 'cliffhanger' and called on the hosts to fire as a unit rather than depend on individual performances.

"Australia play their cricket very hard so does the Indian cricket team. Playing at home is a great advantage. In T20, you cannot predict what is going to happen. I would want India to make it to semis. But it is definitely going to be a cliff hanger. We will have to be at our best," said Khanna, who played 10 one-day internationals for India.

"Our batting hasn't fired in the tournament so far. Australians have shown us what batting strength they have in their last game against Pakistan. If the wicket is like the last game, Australians will be very hard to beat. We will have to produce something exceptional not from Virat Kohli but as a team to win," added Khanna.

The winning side of today's clash will join New Zealand, West Indies and England in the semifinals.
