West Indies paceman Kemar Roach reportedly escaped a serious injury from a car accident in which his BMW flipped over several times on a rain-lashed Bridgetown road.

Media reports have claimed that Roach, who suffered a head injury, was taken to a hospital.

However, the paceman has insisted that he had not been seriously hurt in the accident, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Roach posted a message on Twitter saying that he is sorry to scare his friends, family and fans, but he is 'straight' and also thanked them for the love, the report added.
