Microsoft has reportedly crossed 200 million licenses mark with Windows 8.
Last year, in May 2013, the software giant had said that the company sold 100 million licenses.
According to Cnet, Microsoft's Executive Vice President of Marketing Tami Reller revealed an updated figure of 200 million Windows 8 licenses sold, during an appearance at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference recently.
Meanwhile, Reller kept mum about the name of the Windows 8.1 update, however, she did comment on the "more rapid cadence" on which the Windows team has been delivering.
