A blog named "Boobs for Science" has gone viral for posting breast selfies with factual signs to help promote scientific achievement.
The first pic on the blog, which was started by 30-year-old Lara Tait, a web MARKETER who studied paleoanthropology, shows a pic of a woman's cleavage and a sign that says 25 percent of Italians deny the theory of evolution. In the US, it's 60 percent, The Local reported.
Tait, whose intention was to use the blog as a tool to inform the masses of scientific achievement, said that she thinks Italy more should be done to bring science and its results to the people, so she just had the idea to do something original in this sphere.
Numerous women have since contributed their own photographs to the Tumblr blog, in various states of undress and even some men have ignored the "boobs" title and send naked photos of themselves.
The contributors cover a huge range of topics in their nude or semi-nude shots, recounting facts on everything from autism to the age of the universe, while biodiversity, illiteracy and vivisection also feature.
