Six-time PGA Tour champion Hunter Mahan has said that he was stunned to see a dip in Tiger Woods' performance on the golf course, and insists that maybe Woods was not enjoying the game anymore.
The former number one has been going through a rough patch after posting the worst 72-hole total of his PGA Tour career at last week's Memorial Tournament, which included a mind-boggling 13-over-par 85 in the third round.
Mahan, who has been the team-mate of Woods for the United States at the 2010 Ryder Cup and also at the past four Presidents Cups, said that he just didn't see him enjoying the game as much as he used to, Sport24 reported.
He opined that he just did not see the enjoyment in him right now. It was sad to see because golf was the ultimate enjoyment for that guy. He loves to get out there on the golf course and compete.
Woods, who is currently ranked 181, has been struggling for most of this season as he finished last among those who made the cut at the Memorial Tournament with a 14-over total of 302.
