Having struggled all the year round, former world number one golfer Tiger Woods has insisted that he is looking forward to play 'pain-free' 2016 season, maintaining that he will continue to play golf at the highest level.

The 39-year-old admitted that 2015 was physically a very tough year for him as he didn't manage to build on a swing pattern throughout the year.

Describing his year as ' roller-coaster ', Wood hopes to sustain good health and stressed that he would try to return on track in the upcoming year.

According to Sport24, the winner of 79 career PGA Tour events believes that he would remain a contending and emerging golfer over the next few years.

Woods, who now stunningly ranks 414th, has not won a tournament since the 2013 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

He also bagged his last major title in the 2008 US Open.
