Former world number one Tiger Woods posted a modest five over par in the opening round of the invitational World Challenge, after returning from injury.
Woods shot three bogeys and a double bogey in his first nine holes, with hitting a birdie at 12 and finishing 11 strokes behind Jordan Spieth, who is currently leading the tournament, the BBC reported.
Coming back off injury, Woods played his first competitive round since missing the cut at the USPGA Championship in August.
