Model turned actress, Pooja Hegde, who is all set to mark her Bollywood debut with Ashutosh Gwarikar's historical saga, 'Mohenjo daro' said, working opposite Hrithik Roshan was nothing less than a dream come true for her.
According to a Pinkvilla report, expressing her feeling, the 25-year-old actress said, "You always have a wish-list for Bollywood but to actually have that wish come true and get a role alongside a big actor like Hrithik Roshan is such a pleasure in life. Feels surreal. Most actresses wait for entire lives to work in a period film. I feel really lucky and can say that dreams do come true."
Pooja will be seen playing the 42-year-old actor's love interest in the movie, set in the backdrop of the Indus Valley civilization.
The sultry actress, who was also crowned as the second runner-up at the Miss Universe India 2010 competition, further spoke about her first day shoot with the 'Krishh' actor.
"Well, Hrithik has a great sense of humour. When I met him first he thought I lived in some village from South India and was shocked to know that I stay in Bandra itself (laughs). We had a great laugh over it and that's how it all got started for us. It was a lot of fun on the sets," she said with a grin.
Talking about her decision to commence her Bollywood career with a period drama, she said, "I didn't do it because it's just a period film. I loved the story, the cast, and the director. With your first, they expect you to be brilliant with everything. And I don't think I could have asked for a better film than Mohenjo Daro."
Along with the dashing duo, the film, scheduled to release on August 12, also features Kabir Bedi, Arunoday Singh and Sihasini Malay in vital roles.
