Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday asserted that the world's perception about India has changed, and that they were looking at ways to connect with New Delhi.
"The world is now seeing India with a changed vision, they are looking at ways to reach out to us," said Prime Minister Modi at a function hosted by the Indian community.
Referring about his 'Make in India' initiative, the Prime Minister invited all to look at the opportunities that India offers.
"We have started the 'Make in India' initiative. We want everyone to come and look at the opportunities India has to offer," he said.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi participated in the East Asia Summit (EAS) and interacted with the leaders of the fellow member nations.
In his address at the summit, Prime Minister Modi asserted that a comprehensive response against terrorism requires a genuine international partnership, and said any linkage between religion and terrorism must be rejected.
