Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha sustained some injuries on Friday after he fell from a chair in Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Central jail, where he has been held since eleven days.
His doctor SK Sinha, however, said that the leader has not sustained any heavy injuries, "He is fine overall, had a minor injury at the back of the head."
The former Finance Minister was arrested on June 2 after he led a BJP demonstration at the state Electricity Board office in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. He had refused to furnish a bail bond which had led to him languishing in jail.
