Young American golfer Jordan Spieth has credited his success to his special needs sister Ellie, saying that being her brother humbles him every day of his life.
21-year-old Spieth became the second youngest golfer after Tiger Woods to win the Masters and he runs a 'Jordan Spieth Charitable Fund' for children with special needs.
In honor of his 14-year-old sister, who has a neurological disorder putting her on the autism spectrum, the Texan started the fund in order to raise money for special needs youth, military families and junior golf, People Magazine reported.
Spieth's mother Chris revealed that her son wouldn't be where he's at today if he didn't grow up with Ellie, adding that he realizes this isn't real life at the Masters. She said that trying to sit around and have dinner when his sister doesn't want to eat when everybody else is eating and has a fit, that's real life.
Spieth claimed that his sister is the funniest member of their family, adding that he really loves when she's able to be out there, loves spending time with her. He insisted that it's humbling to see Ellie and her friends and the struggles they go through each day that people take for granted.
