Fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has been awarded for his phenomenal season as he walked away with a record six honours, including the coveted Cricketer of the Year prize, at the annual Cricket South Africa (CSA) awards in Johannesburg.
In addition to being named the Cricketer of the Year, Rabada also scooped the One-Day International Cricketer of the Year as well Test cricketer of the Year awards despite entering the international arena at the beginning of the season.
The 21-year-old has scalped a total of 30 wickets in his 11 ODI appearances so far while he has bagged 24 wickets in six Test matches he played for South Africa,Sport24 reported.
Rabada also added three other gongs in his account namely SA Players' Player of the Year award, the 'Delivery of the Year' award as well as the SA Fans Cricketer of the Year.
The young speedster's best bowling figure came against England at Centurion, where he finished with the figures of 13 for 144 to become the youngest South African to claim ten wickets in a Test match.
