Youth Congress activists on Saturday asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sack Minister of State for External Affairs General (Retd.) V.K. Singh for his controversial 'dog' remark on the Dalit related burning incident in Ballabgarh, Haryana.

"It is most unfortunate. He (Singh) is against humanity, not only against Dalits .The ministers of the BJP don't believe in the Constitution. They don't believe in this pluralistic society, nor do they believe in secularism in India," said Youth Congress president Rizwan Arshad.

"VK Singh thinks he has all the license and permission to comment. The Central government is having a feudalistic mindset, and they think, that they can suppress anybody in society," he added.

He accused the BJP of issuing derogatory statements at frequent intervals and saying sorry when situations appeared to be going out of hand.
