James Brown biopic 'Get On Up' is all set to open Zurich International Film Festival 2014.
Directed by Tate Taylor, the feature highlights the rise from rags-to-riches of the legendary performer, who was considered founding fathers of funk music and supporter of black pride, the Hollywood reporter reported.
The film stars Chadwick Boseman as Godfather of Soul along with Dan Aykroyd, Lennie James and Tate's 'The Help' star Viola Davis, and credits Brian Grazer and Mick Jagger as producers.
Boseman would be attending the festival's premiere with Tate later in September.
