After cruising through the hot roads of Oman deserts for hot-weather testing, Aston Martin Lagonda has been officially unveiled by the company. The Aston Martin Lagonda is based on the company’s four-door model, Rapide, with a carbon fiber body and extended wheelbase. The Lagonda will be powered by the same 6.0-litre V12 engine that does duty in the Rapid and the power output should be about the same.
The Lagonda gets better legroom and headroom in the rear, thanks to the extended wheelbase and a straight roof, unlike the coupe-ish Rapide.
The interior is also based on the Rapid but the Lagonda gets new leather upholstery unique to it. Designed and hand stitched, the leather seats have grand written, or rather stitched, all over them.
