General Motors Indian , Chevrolet India is celebrating the Beat's 3rd anniversary in the Indian car market. To celebrate this occasion, the company is offering a Rs. 48,000 discount on the entry level 1199cc model of the hatchback. The offer will be valid till June 20, 2013.

Chevy Beat was first launched in 2010, and was called the country's most modern looking and fascinating hatchback that mostly cater to the young buyers. Now, it has turned three years old, and is still one of the favorite hatchbacks in India. To celebrate its 3rd anniversary, the company is offering a special discount on the entry level model of the Beat, which we believe is an excellent offer to own the stylish small hatchback.

The Chevrolet Beat entry level variant is tagged at Rs. 3.87 lakh, and after a flat discount of Rs. 48,000 it now cost Rs. 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). When we talk about the entry level variant of any vehicle, we find it comparatively less featured version. But in this case, it is an excellent vehicle for the first time drivers as well as those who are looking to buy an affordable hatchback. It costs you around similar to other low cost vehicles like Alto K10 and Hyundai i10, and it is now Rs. 50,000 more affordable than the entry level Ford Figo. More interestingly, it is the most powerful hatchback in its segment, with around 79bhp of top power and 108Nm of torque.

Not just affordability and power, the base model of the Beat also comes equipped with various features such as power steering, remote trunk opener, remote fuel lid opener, foldable rear seat, air conditioning, tachometer, rear seat belts, seat belt warning, door ajar warning, adjustable seats and many more.
