Aston Martin has taken wraps off the most potent and track-focused version of its Vantage sports car. Christened as Vantage GT3, the model is company’s attempt to blur the lines between its track and road going offerings.
With production limited to just 100 examples, Vantage GT3 is equipped with an uprated iteration of the Aston’s 6.0-litre V12 engine, capable of generating 600 PS of max power along with 625 Nm of peak torque. Also, the model weighs in at 100kg less than the standard V12 Vantage S.
Aston has significantly restyled the new model and it is lower and wider than any of its siblings in the Vantage family. Its boasts a broader track (front and rear), and a plethora of motorsport-inspired features, such as extensive use of carbon fibre inside-out and the track-focused aerodynamics pack, including a prominent rear wing and pronounced front splitter. Additionally, the advanced Bilstein adaptive dampers have been modified alongside the inclusion of different spring rates. Elsewhere, the same carbon ceramic Brembo brakes of the V12 Vantage S are found on this, alongside 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres.
