Although Personal Mobility Devices are way off the topic as of yet, but Japanese manufacturers have long believed they are the most important development in terms of personal mobility. And that too remember not for the handicapped, but for the able bodies. Honda Motor Co. Ltd. will be showing the world its new personal mobility device, UNI-CUB β*1, at the Japan Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015.
Attendants at the Japanese Pavilion will be running around on the UNI-CUB β while giving visitors a tour of the “Live Performance Theatre,” an interactive theatre designed in the image of future restaurants. This new mobility device has been developed with harmony with people taken into account. If you do happen to visit, you will witness the performance of the pavilion attendants taking advantage of this unique UNI-CUB β.
Honda had already begun the UNI-CUB β rental service for business customers in Japan in April of 2014. As it is one of the most advanced technologies from the country, the UNI-CUB β will be representing Japan’s futuristic space at Expo Milano 2015. “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” is the core theme of Expo Milano 2015, which will be held in Milan, Italy. This expo will be the third extensive expo (registered expo) of this century, after Expo 2005 held in Aichi prefecture, Japan and Expo 2010 held in Shanghai, China. For Expo Milano 2015, under the theme of “Harmonious Diversity,” Japan will exhibit diverse initiatives in the areas of agriculture, forestry and fisheries as well as with Japanese foods and the art of dietary culture.
