Honda CR-V’s baby sister HR-V will make its way to the showroom of U.K by June 2015. With the introduction of HR-V, the competition in compact crossover will get more furious as the segment is already crowded with Nissan Juke and Renault Captur. Honda HR-V made its public debut at 2014 LA Motor Show and is build on the same bloodline of Fit and Vezel.
The exterior of Honda HR-V features sporty body curves, aggressive front grille with bold and solid bumper which adds more to the character of this SUV. Inside the cabin, the HR-V offers class-leading legroom courtesy of Honda’s latest innovation- Magic Seat System. The automaker carefully designed the interior with high quality soft-touch material. HR-V also embraces Honda Connect app in-car infotainment system which is operated through seven-inch touchscreen display. The car also offers a spacious boot space of 453 litres which can be further increased to 1026-litres with rear 60:40 split Magic Seats.
Powering the crossover is the 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel or 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine. The diesel engine churns a max power of 128bhp while the petrol engine musters a power of 118bhp.

In terms of safety features, Honda HR-V offers an Advanced Driver Assist System package which uses a camera and mid-range radar to safeguard from upcoming dangers. Adding more to the safety quotient, the SUV also offers Lane Departure Warning, City Brake Active Assist, Intelligent Speed Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition system, High-beam Support System and Forward Collision Warning.
