Even before Hyundai released Creta SUV, the Korean automaker's offering managed to register bookings of about 10,000 units. Further, the outrageous demand for the car forced the carmaker to halt the export and increase the domestic production. And now, seeing the immense success of the car, company has hiked the prices of Creta variant by Rs. 25,000. The hike is not exclusive to just the premium crossover SUV but is also applicable on the i20 premium hatchback. Prices of the Hyundai Elite i20 have been increased by Rs 9,000 across all variants. The hike is applicable with immediate effect. But keeping in consideration the escalating competition, courtesy of rivals like Honda Jazz; Hyundai did update the Elite i20 by giving it a new touch screen infotainment system, amongst other updates, while keeping the price unchanged.
Hyundai has also managed to gain a substantial fan following on its social media front. The car company has attained more than six million fans on Facebook. According to sources, this achievement is accredited to company’s vigilant approach towards marketing, which includes impressive content and constant messaging. The Facebook page of Hyundai was officially launched on October 2011 with an aim to enhance communications between the company and its customers.
Hyundai has also managed to appeal to the younger demographics, courtesy of its innovative social media marketing campaigns like “Hyundai : A Message to Space”, which also garnished the reputation of the company with the achievement of Guiness World record. Hyundai India connects to the world wide net via social media platforms like twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook.
