Hyundai in order to give its C-segment Verna a fresh round of updates will launch the facelifted Verna tomorrow in Delhi. With next gen City doing wonders for the Honda, Hyundai with its facelifted Verna too is looking for the same results. The facelifted Verna is based on company’s Fluidic 2.0 design philosophy seen in brand’s new cars such as Elite i20 and Santa Fe. The dealers across the country have already started taking the advance booking of updated model with an upfront payment of Rs 21,000 to as high as Rs 51,000.

Like the ongoing model the facelifted model will also feature projector headlamps but it skips the addition of daytime running LEDs. The front fascia is redesigned to feature a sleek twin-slated chrome grill in place of hexagonal grille. The fog lamps gets boomerang design with addition of chrome on housing. The interior of car remains same and surprisingly the update model does not offer touchscreen infotainment system but features a new music system with 1GB storage option.

Under the hood, the car carry forward its tried and tested 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines. The engines are refined but produces same power output. On the safety front the car offers ABS as standard safety feature while the top variant gets six airbags, rain-sensing wipers and auto headlamps.
