Jaguar Land Rover India Launches InControl Apps

The platform is developed in conjunction with Bosch 

Jaguar Land Rover India in conjunction with Bosch has introduced - InControl Apps, a new smartphone integration platform. With the help of this, users can mirror the phone’s interface to the vehicle’s infotainment touch screen and access selected popular apps. The company has released initial set of applications to be used from the car’s infotainment system, these apps are specific to Indian users; apps like, NDTV, Hungama, MapmyIndia and Zomato. Moreover, Ford India also offers similar integration with its SYNC infotainment system. The feature will be available in JLR cars starting next year.  

"InControl Apps will enhance the overall luxury experience of our vehicles and provide technology savvy customers a more convenient option to access their favorite apps. This is an exciting new technology addition to Land Rover vehicles, which have already become popular for their design, performance, craftsmanship and luxury credentials," said Rohit Suri, President, Jaguar Land Rover India.
