World Premiere at the 85th Geneva Motor Show on 3 March 2015
Land Rover has released the first teaser of the upcoming 2016 Evoque facelift. The updated Landy crossover will make its global debut in Swiss in the first week of March. The Tata-owned British off-road automaker did not reveal much as of now but says more details will be out on February 23, 2015.
“Our challenge has been to enhance Evoque without diluting its iconic design” - Gerry McGovern
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, said: “The design refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400,000 consumers around the world.”
What we know so far?
At the outset, the 2016 Evoque facelift will feature full LED adaptive headlamps, Land Rover says it ‘provides superior illumination in dark conditions, following the curves of the road’. Apart from it, Evoque will also feature subtle design changes but the company said that the ‘iconic’ design cues of the crossover-SUV are kept same, definitely, why on earth anybody would change that! Moreover, it also features ‘new engine lineup’ most likely the new four-cylinder turbo petrol and diesel Ingenium engines along with interior enhancements.
