Mercedes Benz India is prepped-up to launch the entry-level CLA sedan tomorrow. The Audi A3 competitor is expected to be priced in the vicinity of 30 lac. The compact luxury sedan is available in both turbo - petrol and diesel motors and bookings of the same have already begun earlier this month.
Adding on the CLA, the sedan flaunts Merc’s new design language and its coupe like silhouette will definitely turn heads on the roads. The vehicle comes with bi-xenon headlamps having daytime running LEDs along with LED tail lamps.
On the inside, the dashboard design is similar to that of its sibling A Class hatchback and is similarly loaded too. Moreover, apart from anything, those frameless doors are just stunning to look at!

Engines?
The Mercedes Benz CLA is pulled by a 2-litre petrol and a 2.1-litre diesel. The 2.1-liter 4-cylinder diesel chucks out 135 PS in the range of 3600-4400 rpm and a max torque of 300 Nm between 1600-3000 rpm. The 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol on the other hand extracts a meaty 183 PS at the engine speed of 5500 rpm similar to the diesel and 300 Nm of torque. Both the motors are coupled to the familiar 7G-DCT dual clutch gearbox.
